Wright State University Partnership

Freshway Foods has partnered with Wright State University to develop curriculum for a Certificate in Food Systems Management. The program offers a variety of courses, from Food Microbiology and Food Chemistry to Management topics such as Personnel Management, Business Finance, and Leadership. Key members of our operations team have the opportunity to earn the undergraduate certificate, attending classes at our headquarters in Sidney, Ohio, and at Wright State’s Lake Campus in Celina, Ohio. The courses are tailored to allow opportunities for our associates to upgrade their technical and leadership skills in their current jobs. After completing the program, our associates have the option to continue their education at Wright State University and receive an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree.
