At Freshway Foods, we understand the importance of being good citizens in the community where we live and work.
- We support local schools and charitable organizations with financial and product donations.
- We donate fresh produce to local food banks and soup kitchens.
- We support the Shelby County United Way through an annual pledge drive, as well as special luncheons and other fundraising activities. Through the generosity of our associates, we were one of the top ten corporate donors in 2015. The Shelby County United Way supports local organizations that serve children, families and the elderly.
- Our associates support local families in need during the Christmas season, by donating gifts and food. We have supported several local families by providing gifts for the children, household products, and food for multiple meals.
